James became part of the real estate landscape in our area in the mid 1980’s. Having worked for many years in local government as a Health & Building Inspector/Town Planner, additional studies to become a Real Estate Agent were soon followed by the addition of qualifications as an Auctioneer, Stock & Station Agent and Property Valuer ensuring his knowledge base is well honed.
Taking over the operation of Sternbeck’s Real Estate in 2010 James has given a commitment that will see the family business move into the next generation continuing the legacy developed by Harold Sternbeck of providing ‘service with integrity’ and at all times treating people as people with the utmost respect.
James thinks he is an ultimate performer when it comes to all things ‘sport’. The tales of twisted torment as he grasped success from the jaws of defeat are incredibly inspiring yet (oddly) seem so remarkably unbelievable.
A new, young staff member was once heard question James, after a significantly longer tale of his feats of ‘daring do’, as to whether the story happened exactly the way he had portrayed ….
And just like that, the stories stopped.
Hmmmm – I wonder where that kid is now?
